Uninstall after upgrade to SP2

I have a one-register set-up with Manager running in the back office. Something has gone nuts in back. When I try to change the cost or price of an item it just goes to zero. Everything else in Manager seems to work fine. I decided to repair with the installation disk but I get a message that the installation source is not available. I assume this is because I downloaded the upgrade to SP2 and a subsequent patch. Any ideas about how to fix this?

A little more information: I decided to uninstall and reinstall RMS but I get the same complaint about not having the installation source.
