Vouchers and Price Levels

We have one location were the registers are set up to always use price level C. This is set up by selecting Use Level if Exists in the Price Calculation section of the Manager configuration settings. Then, Register 1 is set to use Price Level C as default. When the cashier rings up a Gift Card, they enter the serial number, then enter a value (price). The price shows up as $0 on the transaction screen. We have tested the recommendations in the knowledge base article and set the value for Gift Cards at Price Level C at $1000. Once we do this, the Gift Card still does not accept the price the cashier enters, but uses a value of $1000. The steps referenced in the knowledge base article work if you do not have a default price level set up for a register, but not in our scenario. Please help!

Thanks,

Steph
