Does anyone know of a way to weigh an item on a stand alone scale, print out the price and weight on the barcode, and then scan it at the register without having to weigh the item again. Can RMS read the barcode and understand the item, price, weight and in turn calculate a total?

You need a scale that prints random weights, like the Hobart Quantum or SP1500. This is a whole new can of worms in itself.
Once you get the sticker figured out, use random weight EAN and UPC.
2xxyyy00000Is the format to enter the ILC. XXYYY is whatever you program into your scale. I usually use XX for the department and YYY for the specific item within that department. That's what most people do, as far as I know.
