Work Orders

Are there any bike shops who use this system able to properly use the work orders for repairs, and if so, how do you properly schedule workload by day? Since you can't see the due date when looking up work orders, how can you determine if the work is due, other than running a report? Does this have to be done every time a repair is entered to know when to schedule?

Does anyone know of a scheduling software that integrates with MRS that can do the labor and repairs?

Is there a way to add "Reference #" to the Detailed work order report? Also, is there a way to add the Due Date to the cutomer receipt for work orders?

Unfortunately the Work Order functionality in RMS is very limited and isn't really meant to do "work order management". If you're a repair shop then you will still need to keep track of your workload the same way you did before.

FYI, I'm currently developing a work order add-in for RMS which is directed as repair shops. I was hoping to have it completed by now, but it's still a couple of months away. I can put you on my contact list for when it is ready.

I would be interested in your progress. Are you able to overide the RMS System Due Date?

If you mean change it from the application, then yes.
