Hello. I'm using QB 2006. When I open the QB file for several different companies - I'm greated with a "Alert" to perform different services (Prepare 941, etc.). I went to the Alert Manager and marked each of these items Done. I have also turned off reminders and to do lists under Preferences. I've also turned off checked "Turn off Popup Messages....". But I still get these pesky Alerts for the same things over and over and over. How do I get rid of them? Will the Alert Manager keep adding to the list throughout the year? Thanks in advance.

If you find out, please let me know. The damn things are like Beaver teeth; we've got to find some way to keep 'em pared back or they'll kill us.
I believe there is a known issue in regards to reminders popping up even if you try to dismiss them. I'd suspect it'll get fixed in a future QuickBooks patch.
