I am using QuickBooks Pro 2006 to consolidate sales data from an ecommerce system and expense data from a credit card transaction processor. There is a bit of data that I enter in QB, but I am using it primarily as a data consolidation and reporting tool.
The problem has to do with importing. I want to be able to import an IIF file with orders from the ecommerce system and then later delete all orders and re-import a new IIF file. But I'd prefer not to lose the data that I already entered by hand. Is there any way to do a mass delete of all invoices or at least some way to have an import that synchronizes with existing data rather than creating duplicate entries? It seems like this is an option on the Excel import, but not IIF?
Thanks, ...Michael
