How about: "How do I get the "one-time free" payroll update?"

When will Tax Cut fix California e-filing problem in their software?

The one where the "For electronic filing, California only allows 30 characters for your address and apartment number" error pops up even for addresses that are less than 30 characters long (including spaces).

Also, Tax Cut is incorrect about the apartment number. It is a separate 5 character field, not part of the 30 character street address:

Start to sign up for Do-It-Your-Selfpayroll, but do skip the credit card info. Only then do you get amessage about the free one-time table, along with a sales pitch for themonthly tables few need.

That was the first thing I did. "Maintenance Man" said the site was down, THERE. Thanks so much for your concern. How about FOAD.

I tried again; this time it worked. When I tried before, it kept returning me to the screen to enter credit card info and would allow me no further.

Thanks!

I just tried to do this and can't get past the CC window.

I selected Employees/Add Payroll Service. Is there another way to do this?

BTW, I tried the QB groups l>That's easy, especially since I already answered it at

I just registered on the web site to ask the question about my problem of registering my QB2000 after installing it on a new HDD.

With all the problems I have with the computer right now I decided not to feel my way around the site but ask the question in this list.
