QuickBooks Pro Timer doesn't Export when Resuming a Current Activity

I am referring to the QuickBooks Pro Timer with QuickBooks Pro 2007 and Windows XP SP2.

If I resume a Current Activity instead of creating a New Activity, I get a message when trying to export Activity Timer data (after stopping the timer of course, and after at least a minute of time):

"There are no unexported activities to export. Or, all unexported activities have a duration of 00:00. Only activities with non zero duration will be exported. To export an activity which has been previously exported, select it in the Time Activity Log and click the Export button."

How am I supposed to get this additional time added to my timesheet in QuickBooks?

I am still in a testing/experimenting phase, so this is how I have been using it:

New Activity... Start timer Stop timer after a few minutes (Not more than 30). Export -->

Exporting works fine. Resume a Current Activity... (just a few minutes after stopping the timer) Stop timer after a few minutes (Not more than 10). Export --> I get this error that there is nothing to export.

It is pretty important that a Timer user is able to resume an activity and add time to it, and then export once at the end of the day. A user will not always be creating a New Activity every day as the projects they will be working on will last weeks.
