Where's the location for re-registration of older versions when internal link 404's?
Needed to rebuild and re-install QB on this machine--all ok except now need to re-register or will run out of uses. Anybody know where/how for older versions?
Apparently answered own w/ another search--phone option is apparently only way...I'll give that a go this afternoon.
If you have the validation code from the original installation you can manually register the product. Select Help>>about QB. Then enter Ctrl-R-P to bring up the registration screen. Enter the validation code on that screen and click okay.
If you don't have the validation code you will need to use the phone registration route to get that validation code.
As a word of caution, they might not give you a code for versions 2008 and older as those products are no longer supported by Intuit.

Yeah, I finally remembered how had done it before...thanks for the pointer, anyway.
I had been smart enough to record the # on the CD, I just couldn't recall where it was to get it entered and flumoxed myself when I tried the link...
