Which Premier edition to install?

I'm at a screen that gives me several choices for which version of Premier to install. My situation is manufacturing with direct retail. The choices listed are "manufacturing with wholesale", or "retail". Since my business encompasses both, which one should I choose. Will I have to buy yet another version and how will they tie together?

I would go to this page:

and look at the Retail vs Manufacturing & Wholesale versions. Run the product comparison. Alot of the differences btw the 2 versions are report related so it may not matter which version you get. Another thought would be to select the Accountant's version because it offers more features plus you can "toggle" between versions.

In the end I installed the generic business version and it appears to give me everything I need. I am getting better at side-stepping Intuit's spam and was able to avoid installing most of it. I've learned not to accept anyone's normal & usual install. Always pick advanced and then choose what you want and don't want. It all seems to be working ok and while it wasn't an easy install, it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been. Total download and install time, nine hours.

9 hours? holy cow. You have a lot of patience. I would have given up after an hour or 2. Good luck.
