Advice on getting suport

I pay bills online through quicken -> Wells-Fargo. It has basically worked flawlessly hundreds of times. I recently ran into a problem: I paid a bill last week, scheduled to be delivered yesterday, and I happened to pay another bill to the same payee the next day [not surprisingly, scheduled to be delivered today]. I got poked by the payee that they hadn't received any payments. So I logged into W-F and noticed that the *second* check has been entered in my account but *no*sign* of the first check. I called W-F to find out if they knew anything about the missing check and they just bounced me to quicken. After three hours on hold I gave up.

Is there some {sneaky? ;o)} way to actually get through to quicken to someone who can help in a case like this? Should I just wait longer to see if the missing check turns up?

I don't know about quicken logs: does quicken [Q2020 on win10] keep logs of its transactions when it does an update/send? [that is, can I confirm, perhaps with some transaction code , that my payment request actually got _received_ by quicken ?? If so, perhaps I could even use that info to help a Quicken person [assuming I can get in touch with one] locate my payment and figure out its status.

Thanks! /Bernie\

I decided to see if I could figure anything out. In quicken I noticed there's a little lightning bolt next to the online billpays [which I'd never looked at before]. It confirmed what I thought: that the payment was duly entered and uploaded. And I saw a "send email" in the popup, so I did that -- and I've now sent an email to W-F presumably to inquire on the status of my payment. So I guess I'll just wait to see what W-F says. Sorry for all the drama, I was just irritated by W-F brushing me off and Quicken having a near-infinite wait on their cust service. Now that I see that I have confirmation that the billpay was really sent I'll wait and see what W-F has to say. [I didn't know there was a via-quicken way to email your bank about a specific transaction...]

When I pay bills from my WF checking account via Quicken, and run a OSU, a check number is assigned. That tells me WF has received the request. A few times I've had to call WF regarding a payment and they have always been able to locate - and once or twice cancel - a payment via that number.
