I pay bills online through quicken -> Wells-Fargo. It has basically worked flawlessly hundreds of times. I recently ran into a problem: I paid a bill last week, scheduled to be delivered yesterday, and I happened to pay another bill to the same payee the next day [not surprisingly, scheduled to be delivered today]. I got poked by the payee that they hadn't received any payments. So I logged into W-F and noticed that the *second* check has been entered in my account but *no*sign* of the first check. I called W-F to find out if they knew anything about the missing check and they just bounced me to quicken. After three hours on hold I gave up.
Is there some {sneaky? ;o)} way to actually get through to quicken to someone who can help in a case like this? Should I just wait longer to see if the missing check turns up?
I don't know about quicken logs: does quicken [Q2020 on win10] keep logs of its transactions when it does an update/send? [that is, can I confirm, perhaps with some transaction code , that my payment request actually got _received_ by quicken ?? If so, perhaps I could even use that info to help a Quicken person [assuming I can get in touch with one] locate my payment and figure out its status.
Thanks! /Bernie\
