backup and restore question ???

Hi,

I have Quicken 2005 Deluxe on both my work and home pc. For the past month I have been transfer the data between the two via usb memory. On my work pc when I back up the backup file location is under the /Program Files/Quicken directory. The same was true on my home pc until recently. Even after a clean install of XP, when I restore to my home pc, it put the files under D:/Quicken. Anyone know why this is?

Where is the Quicken file located that you have open when you do the restore? Look in the most recently opened files list in the File menu.
