The Community Discussion Subject is a bit misleading, but the discussion may be of interest to some - especially those that wish to assign Quicken "transfer categories" to Quicken "Custom Category Groups".[And as SuperUser Bob_L suggests: the way to budget for transfers is to NOT assign them to Custom Category Groups - then select each desired "transfer category" individually for budgeting. In the example, selecting "TO My Savings" (when the transfer category "TO My Savings" is NOT part of a Custom Category Group), should produce the desired result.]
