Dividend and Interest Report

Jan 25, 2008 2 Replies

I'm using Q2007 Home and Business.

How do I create a report showing my total interest and dividends. Most of these transactions occur in investment accounts that are linked to cash accounts using the DivX and IntIncX actions.

When I look in the category list the DivX and IntIncX are not shown

Appreciate help in collecting this data.

Thanks.....

Select the "_DivInc" and "_IntInc" categories - these are the categories used. The "X" denotes "Action", not "Category".

Suggestion; take a look at the Reports > Investing > Investment Income Then drill down [double-click] on the amount for a given category - you get a list of the transactions which you can then subtotal; e.g., subtotal "_DivInc" by account or by security.

Thanks for the input. The only activity indicated under the _IntInc category are the CD interest deposits that I enter as _IntInc. There is nothing in that category that were entered using IntIncX.

When you enter a transaction using _IntIncX does in show in _IntInc?

I was able to find the information using your suggestion in the Reports section.
