Download Data in Ver 2006 does not work

Sep 10, 2005 1 Replies

It worked fine before, so the finiancial insti told me in deactivate the download portion and reactivate it. When I did all I get is a windows with a java script file in it. so I go to the institution to do the download manually - which i use to do sometimes. Now that does not work, it wants to put a file on hard drive. If I download it I can not get Quicken to do anything with the file. I have verified that all my jave aplications are working on all my other programs and on the SunJava web site.

What do I do?

Any ideas?

Let me see if I understand completely, you want a solution for a vague question about an unspecified banking institution's download problem you are encountering on some non-specified operating system? Gee, I can't imagine why you're not getting the answers you need...

Now, to provide some direction to your quest for information, the manual download should work just fine if you click the "Open" button on the dialog box. If your Q06 is in proper working order, and was installed correctly, then you'll see that Quicken will open the QFX file and process it properly. If not, uninstall and reinstall Quicken and try again.
