Downloading transactions preblem fixed

This is associated with a problem in which "Transactions appear to be downloading but when one looks at the results there is nothing there."

Please click the "Attached" internet address. Go to "Scenario 2 - Item 3 - Second dashed line". My question is "where are the attached zip files located" that must be downloaded to one's desktop?

Look at the heading section of the page for these attached files:

Q2007R3Fix_1.exe (77.2 K) Q2007R3Fix_2.exe (77.2 K)

I unzip the two files and all I find is ".dat" files. How do I run the .dat files?

Don't know if you ran them from the website or local. Here's what I did.

I saved them to the hard drive and ran each one. They extracted their files to the appropriate folders and left nothing behind except for the files themselves. Deleted them, and so far so good.

I did exactly the same thing. The problem is that there are no executables, only ".dat" files. Windows offered to look for a program on the Web that would execute the file. The problem is that the .dat filename is pretty generic. It is generated by a lot of applications all with different formats. Well I went looking on the Web and downloaded an application called "Snapfire". Snapfire would seem to be a program for manipulating images. So what is the program that we want? Better yet what is the executable that we want?

Why did you delete them at the end?

After they run, they leave the "native" .exe file behind. The 'patch" files are written to the Intuit folder(s0 where they need to go.

What is the name of the path to the intuit folder?
