I'm new to Q2006, and have been entering transactions. I've noticed I made many mistakes when entering whole dollar amounts. For example, I'd enter 1000 (meaning $1,000.00) and then tab or enter across to the next field. This would go in as $10.00 (Q2006 assumed I had entered dollars and cents). I keep making the mistake, so I think my previous version of Quicken took amounts without a decimal point to be dollars-only.
I would like it to be interpreted as dollars-only, because that's what I'm used to. But I've looked at various options and cannot find one that allows this.
Is there such an option somewhere?
