export transactions ten import ?

Using Quicken home & Business: My wife accidently inputted several months of transactions into a backup file. How do I export those transactions and then import them into the correct file?

I attempted to use a QIF file but them found out Quicken has disabled that function in checking accounts.

I read a little about OXF files which replaced QIF functionality, but can't figure what to do.

Hopefully there's an easy fix as this is a couple days worth of data input time. I'll upgrade Quicken if that's the solution.

Thanks!
