Has Quicken imposed a limit on Update frequency?

Question

I just upgraded from QH&B '13 to QH&B '16.

My normal One-Step-Update habits are to download all transactions when I op en my file. Then, once I've cleared my downloaded transactions, I go into bill-pay mode. After I get all the bills in "Send" status, I'd do another O-S-U (or Update Now) for the checking account sending the checks.

I could do that in Q H&B '13 (i.e. I could "Update Now" as many times as I wanted).

However, in Q '16, it appears I can only do one O-S-U & I can't get an Upda te to work again unless I close & re-open the file.

At the point of the 2nd attempt, I've already cleared the PIN Vault passwor d, so it doesn't prompt me for that again. I just get the O-S-U Settings, with the FI checkbox enabled. Then, immediately after clicking the Update Now button, it just dumps me back to the register.

Anyone else see the same thing? If so, has anyone seen a release note to i ndicate that's intentional?

I understand how the situation can be frustrating. To start, please go to Edit > Preferences > {Investment Transactions} Make sure that Automaticall y Update Quotes every 15 minutes is unchecked. This has resolved the issue of not being able to run OSU a second time with Quicken open. If this doe sn't resolve the issue and still cannot perform OSU a second time please co mment below.
