Managing your Money

I have been using a financial program called Managing Your Money for over 10 years and want to switch to Quicken. I have tried a program called MYM2QIF that is supposed to translate the data to QIF format but it does not appear to work for me. Does anybody have any other suggestions? Thank you!!

What usually gets the best results is if you tell us *why* it doesn't work for you, eg. What errors are you getting, what data are you losing, whatever. That way we can recommend something.

"It does not appear to work for me" gives very little information to go on.

I used mym2qif sevaral years ago to convert from Managing Your Money to Q2000 and while the conversion was not 100% perfect, it was good enough.

What version of Quicken are you trying to convert to and what specific problem(s) did you have. My memory of the details of mym2qif is now very hazy, but someone here might be able to help if we know the details.

I doubt that you have any other choices than mym2qif.

Not that it adds that much but I, too, used mym2qif - to go into Q99. It was a bit ago as I'm now Q2003 but it did everything I needed done. My mym data was pretty basic - just a couple of checking accounts. But it worked. You may have to go to an "older" Qkn first then to latest.version as, apparently, there are qif limitations - others could comment more on that.

Have you conferred with the developer? He was very supportive for me when I converted years ago.
