New

Went out and bought the $59.99 version of Quicken because my old version won't run on 32 bit Vista.

I think I even made up a few new words working with it. I spent most of every hour for the last three days trying to get the damn thing to work.

It would acknowledge it had the backup from the old one. I could even g to "users" in Vista and find them under a directory it created called quicken. (It does out do it's self now with originality.) Anyway it would go out there and say it successfully copied those files and to go to "file" and "open" and supposedly, there you are. The only problem was nothing happened. Not once during the 20-30 times I went carefully through their routines to get there did anything happen.

It came with a 60 day trial period or a full refund. I put it the mail this evening. (actually this was several days ago and I got my refund even along with the sales tax. can't fault them for that.)

Since then I found right clicking my old version and clicking run as administrator it will work so my old checks are still there. Does it really expect us to dump all our old check records?
