No new downloaded transactions

Hello, looking for some advice. Using quicken 2009 r4, I connect with my credit union via a manual download of their file using firefox and then one step update on some other accounts, chase, etc. The day before yesterday, quicken prompted me with a banking update which I allowed. Now all of a sudden, all my checking/savings transactions I get from my bank do not show up and the downloaded transactions tab. The downloaded transactions tab shows zero. If I click online then online center, I can see all the transactions, so it appears they came across from the bank. I tried clicking compare to register and they still won't show to match. I tried validating a file copy with no luck. I tried IE, still nothing. I started a fresh file just to see, still no luck. I read various threads on the quicken support forum about temporarily accepting third party cookies, but this didn't work either.

Should I back up and uninstall, clean then reinstall, not permitting that banking update or does anyone know if it's a different issue before I go through all that?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi, Ron.

Quicken prompted me for the update a couple of days ago, too. I was already at R4 (Quicken 2009 Deluxe) - and it still says R4, so I don't know what was updated or why.

Aha! Thanks to you, I visited Quicken Support (click Online | Quicken on the Web | Quicken Support) and found that I needed to manually apply the R 5 update - and how to do it. NOW I'm updated to R 5. ;
