red flag no transactions

I'm having the same problem with having flagged transactions after a download but there aren't any in the register. I've read the threads in the Quicken forums and tried some of the things but I haven't done the reinstall yet. I have a system that dual boots XP and Vista and share the same Quicken 2007 R4 files on it. When I have the red flag problem in Vista I can boot back to XP and the transactions then show. In both cases so far though I've always done the Ctrl-click in the Online center Contact info and checked the boxes so I don't yet know if it's a combination of that or just going back to XP. I see that people with R4 are still having the problem so I'm hoping there's a R5 soon that fixes this.

I got a bunch of transactions this morning in various accounts under Vista and none of them showed. Without doing anything more, I booted back to XP and they were all there.

Larry;

I had the exact same problem..no transactions showing in Q7/R4 under Vista even though there were transactions (X) and a Red Flags, works fine in XP. I tried all the trouble shooting procedures too and none worked. I finally initiated an on-line chat with Quicken support and here is what he suggested to fix it:

- Reinstall Q07 into a "new" directory - Install as Administer...not just from an Admin account -- Right click on the install file and select "Run as Administer" - Upgrade to R4

Ok, after I did that and reopened my Quicken data file, the transactions showed up...Fixed...I thought. Well, I did an update on an account yesterday and had a the same problem, but this time when I went to Online -> Online Center -> compare to register, that worked...didn't before. I'm going to try and update all my accounts in a day or two and see what happens.

Glad it worked. I just updated three accounts and they all worked...Transactions showed up. I think it's fixed, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'll be sure to post if I find/have any more problems.
