One Step Update, account ordering

No, I don't know how to do that. Backup after OSU is ALMOST automatic for me, from long habit, but I miss doing it sometimes. My routine is usually: OSU; Backup; Portfolio (to see how much I lost in the stock market today), including reading the new stories behind the News icons; check out the other red flags that OSU put in my Account List.

But just a day or two ago I was surprised when I came back to my computer after having left it running for several hours while I was out of the room, clicked on OSU, and got the update without being asked for my vault password.

So I agree: a setting in Quicken Preferences to automatically backup - or offer to backup - after each OSU session would be helpful.

I've been using the password vault for OSU every day since I wrote the above, two weeks ago. Backing up after the OSU is definitely what turns off the password I had entered.

So I try to remember to back up after each OSU, but I frequently forget to. I wish that I could do both in a single step, as if it were a batch file with two statements in it. You don't know any way to do that, do you?

I knew you were going to say that. I was almost sure there was no way, but I thought I would ask anyway.

Even better would be a setting that let you choose to automatically turn off the entered password after OSU completed.
