Online update server error

I'm running Quicken 2000 on Win2000. I haven't been able to update stock quotes in my portfolio for several months - almost a year. I try to go to Quicken website for their FAQ and assistance, but the IP address is invalid (65.197.236.75).

When I attempt to update online quotes, I get a server error: When I click on details, I get: "Low System Resources - Details: You don't have enough memory or system resources to complete the request. Please close all other applications and try again."

This isn't true. I've closed all applications, even rebooted the computer and started fresh, but I still get this error. My PC has plenty of resources: 1.8 Ghz, 523 Mb RAM, 30 Gb HD (17 Gb available).

Anyone experiencing these problems? Any suggestions?

Yes. You need to upgrade to Q2003 or newer to continue to download anything directly.

You can get quotes from Yahoo ( or similar sites) and import them into Quicken; but direct downloads provided by Intuit are not possible unless you upgrade.
