A mutual acquantance suggested that you might be able to point me in some direction.
Here's my problem:
In a nutshell, I've gotta be able to access Quicken 2000 Basic by Tuesday or I'll be in a guessing game and writing checks by hand. When I fire up my computer, I get a "Qwdlls has performed an illegal operation and will be closed" type message, after which I can't open Quicken. My OS is Win98SE, so it looks like I can't upgrade to QW2007 without upgrading my OS, too. If so, to what? Will all my old programs still work? Oh, G-d!
Re-installing it didn't work as it was unable to remove the old copy. I'm unable to remove it through windows as its Uninstaller there doesn't work either, so it must be badly corrupted. I've thought of moving it to another drive and then re-installing it from the CD, but knowing how these programs shotgun files all over the place, I doubt that I would get everything.
Anything you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
