Hi,
What is the "100x" for in the transaction field in a checking account. I tried searching on "transaction field type" etc. in the help but all that happens is that Quicken 2009 under windows 7 bombs .
Thanks in Advance, SJColeman

Where are you seeing this? I seem to recall there was a way you could enter an amount in cents and convert to dollars, but my memory is vague and I can't find the field in my 2011 quicken.

That is a setting for automagically entering decimal point. But I have no idea what this "100x" is that Coleman asked about.
Hi, When creating a new entry in the check register the choices of the Num field are "Next Check Num", "ATM", "Deposit", "Print Check", "Transfer", "EFT", "100X", and "Charg"
The rest of the choices I have either used or are self explanatory but what is 100X?
Sorry for the delay a combination of work load, email problems and power supply problems have kept me offline.
Regards, SJColeman
My QW2009 does not offer those final two options. I suspect you created them somewhere along the line. When you click the arrow to pull down the list, you should find an "Edit List" button. That will show you the user defined entries and allow you to enter new ones and delete unnecessary ones. The first five options are not user defined and (apparently) not alterable.
