What is the "100x" for in the transaction field in a checking account. I tried searching on "transaction field type" etc. in the help but all that happens is that Quicken 2009 under windows 7 bombs .

Where are you seeing this? I seem to recall there was a way you could enter an amount in cents and convert to dollars, but my memory is vague and I can't find the field in my 2011 quicken.

That is a setting for automagically entering decimal point. But I have no idea what this "100x" is that Coleman asked about.
