Quicken 08: Vista SideBar Gadget...?

Another wrinkle. I rebooted my computer and noticed that the Billminder display that comes up at bootup doesn't match the one I get when I run Billminder from the Sidebar gadget. The bootup version shows no upcoming transactions at all. The one I run from the gadget shows 3 upcoming transactions. And, the gadget, itself, still shows 13. I deleted both the QW.RMD and gadget.rmd files from C:\Users\Dave\AppData\Roaming\Intuit\Quicken\Data, started up Quicken, quit it, refreshed the gadget, re-ran Billminder and rebooted to see the boot-time display. Same thing. Two Quicken tools giving me 3 different answers that should be identical.

Since the problem I'm having with Billminder and the Sidebar gadget are serious enough for official attention, I posted this material on Intuit's official site. I'll just copy my latest update from there to here so people don't have to visit both places.

"Over the last two days, none of these tools had changed the data they were presenting me. Billminder at boot-up still showed no upcoming transactions, Billminder through the gadget still showed 2 upcoming transactions, and the gadget still showed 13 upcoming transactions. So, after booting this morning, I ran Quicken from the "Run Quicken" button on the Billminder display (I usually don't do that).

From that Quicken session, I opened both of my files. The still-displayed boot-up version of Billminder changed by adding a tax reminder in both accounts. So now, the boot-up version had 4 upcoming transactions (1 in my primary file, and 3 in my secondary). The gadget still hadn't changed, but running Billminder from there matched the boot-up version. Hooray! Except I then rebooted and the boot version came up blank again. The gadget still said 13, but Billminder through the gadget showed the new version with 4 transactions."
