Quicken 2006 Crashing All the Time

Hi,



I'm a long time Quicken user. I recently upgraded to Quicken



2006. For the first week everything worked fine. Now, Quicken is crashing all the time. I can only enter transactions. If I try and look at a report, Quicken immediatly crashes. If I try and open up the investment center, it immediately crashes. Is anyone else having problems with Quicken 2006 crashing? Any ideas on how to make it stop crashing?

No I had not validated my file. Thank you for the excellent advice. It seems to have solved my problem.

Quicken crashing is still a bug. For that matter, Quicken corrupting your data so that validating is necessary is also a bug.

Like you mine does the same thing on occasion. My worst crashes come from hitting the download transactions button from within any register. Goes straight t the desktop. Only reliable option so far is ALL WAYS use the One-Step Update.
