Quicken 2006 Premier H&B Subject for emailed invoices

For Quicken 2006 Premier H&B, does anyone know how to change the default Subject (This is your Invoice) when you email an Invoice?

Thanks,

Greg

I don't know of any way to change the default subject. However, it is easy to change before you hit the "send" button. Plus, you may want to add some text to the message also (I usually include a "Thank you for your business" or some other personalization).

Thanks, but that's what I'm doing already. It just gets to be a PIA to have to remember to change the Subject every time. You would think it would be customizable.

In typical abusive fashion, Intuit has made this seemingly good feature hard to use for its customers. They don't have a feature to save the invoice as as a file so you can keep records; they don't allow much customizing at all.

Fortunately, there are still ways around it they have not plugged--at least in my '05 version. I never "send" the e-mail as it is. Rather, I open the attachment with WORD and modify it to my liking and save it as a WORD file externally to Quicken. I keep, send, mail etc. that version. It contains the same financials as the one in Q, but is more suitable for tracking and interfacing with clients.
