Invoices with H&B 2012

Jun 11, 2012 5 Replies

I recently upgraded from H&B 2007 to 2012 (XP Pro).

When I try to create an invoice in 2012, the form comes up and I can fill in the fields, but when I am done I don't see any buttons for Save or Print, only Email and Clipboard. The invoice window seems larger than my monitor size and I suspect there are buttons lurking offscreen, but I can't move the window. My only option seems to be to cancel it.

I want to print to a PDF (as I did in 2007) then save the invoice.

Same if I open an existing invoice. I can't print it or save it. That can't be right.

I found it. If you have View > Use Large Fonts, the invoice window is partially offscreen and can't be moved. Sounds like an outright bug to me.

OK, resetting the view was a partial solution. I now have Save buttons, but still no way to print. How can I print to a PDF?

This just keeps getting worse. When I try to send an invoice as email, Quicken says it doesn't support Outlook 2003, which is what I'm using. So now I'm screwed. I can't print an invoice and I can't email it.

Now what?

Finally! The Print button was replaced with a tiny obscure Print icon.
