Quicken 2007 - Deluxe vs Premier ??

Apr 01, 2007 2 Replies

I've been using Quicken 2004 Deluxe for tracking investments - primarily mutual funds. Since Intuit is about to stop supporting "download quotes" for this version, I had planned to update to Q2007 Deluxe. When I began comparing Deluxe vs Premier, Intuit's comparison charts seem to imply that Deluxe no longer supports investment accounts, instead requiring the Premier version for this purpose.

Am I misinterpreting these charts? I'm not looking for analysis tools, investment "insights", tax tools, etc. I just want to be able to track my investments, enter new transactions, download current quotes, etc. Can I still do this with Deluxe, or is Premier now required?

Thanks for your help, ~OC~
