Quicken 2017 Deluxe vs. Premier - Investment Features?

I'm going to update to Q2017. My question is, Deluxe or Premier.

What are the investment features in Q2017 Premier that are not in Deluxe?

Years back, when I looked at this, Deluxe worked perfectly well for tracking investments. Premier had a few esoteric investment features but nothing I would use. I'm wondering if that's still the case.

Thanks for any help.

See this for the Deluxe v. Premier comparison of the 2018 products. The items that are new in 2018 are marked ... so you can fairly simply compare the 2017 products.

Also note that the pricing at Amazon, Staples, WalMart, etc is usually better than the pricing from Quicken itself.

Thanks, Dan.

Last time I had Deluxe, it tracked cost basis and created a capital gains and losses report.

Can someone tell me whether this been taken out of Deluxe 2017?

(The comparison says Premier, but not Deluxe, will "Track cost basis and create Schedule D tax reports." But the last version where I checked out a similar statement, it was only the tax reports that were missing from Deluxe.)

I was able to confirm that Q2017 Deluxe does track cost basis and create capital gains reports. It is only the tax reports that require Premier.

So I just bought Q2017 Deluxe for $21 and am now good to download transactions until April 2020.
