Quicken 2017

Oct 14, 2016 3 Replies

Got the first popup ad for Quicken 2017 Deluxe inside Quicken this morning. As usual, the pricing wasn't very good. $10 off the now $75 list price.

Saw it yesterday on Amazon for PC/Mac, but it was a third party. Download or CD. Today, only the Mac version shows up, sold by Amazon download only for $75.

Somewhere I saw the official release date is Oct 16, so we'll see what pops up in a few days.

This is being discussed in an earlier thread Arthur. Did you see that one before starting this one?

It seems they moved some of the features to the highest priced editions. The pricing "wasn't very good", it's ridiculous. I'm going up to something close to 400% increase for the features I use quite a bit. (ie: Deluxe to Premier).

Anyone know if the three years and forced update policy continues? I'm on 2014.

Well, it's only a "forced update" if you want to continue to download, or receive support from Quicken.

Your program will work exactly the same, in all other aspects, after 4/30/17. And the "sunset" date for Q2017 (Win & Mac) is 4/30/2020.
