Quicken Year 2000 Solution : problem with new Scheduled Transaction

I'm stiill using Quicken 'Year 2000 Solution' ( which was based on Quicken 98 Deluxe), and am having problems setting up any new Scheduled Transactions.

Today I tried to set up a new Payment monthly payment transaction, but was unable to get the name of the company entered into the box to stick! When I have entered it, and then enter the amount and other details, the company name gets changed on the fly to some other name in the transaction history list that pops up. If I enter the name last, and hit OK, then the transaction appears in the S.T. list with the some other, incorrect, name, and other details have changed ('deposit' instead of 'payment', and the amount has changed).

On the other hand, if I chose some name from the 'transaction history' list, that does stick, and the entry is otherwise correct in the S.T. list.

Does anyone know which file the 'transaction history' list is kept in (so I could try adding this name to it, so I could select it from the list)?

I do hope someone can help solve this weird behviour...

Figured it out. The Scheduled Transacton frame will only allow a payee name that has appeared in some account transaction.

I just did a dummy transaction (later deleted) on one account with the required name, and from then on that name is available in the list used by the Scheduled Transaction frame.
