Scheduled Updates Problem

Oct 14, 2007 1 Replies

Tried using the automatic update of FI data, and after learning that it won't update while using a password protected Quicken account, I've tried to shut that feature down. However, after "unchecking" all the days of the week for an update to run, and unchecking all FI's click OK, I re-open the dialogue box and they all the dates still insist on being in a "checked" condition. Now, I get an error message indicationg that the desired update did not run. Have rebooted and restarted Quicken several times, with no change to that condition. Using QW 2008 Premier on XP-Home.

Ideas?

I fixed it. Apparently you can't just uncheck all the FI's and dates. It won't hold onto the change when you click OK. You've got to check at least one FI, then unckeck the days, then uncheck the FI. It will then hold onto the changed settings. Goofy. Go figure.
