Tried to update to to Release 4 but got error message "patching engine failure". Any ideas? Thanks!

I've had that when 'qw.exe' fails to terminate and still shows up in the Task list. I've heard that it's caused by Norton Password manager. Try closing Quicken and using the task manager to delete any remaining qw.exe entries and then try again. Or rebooting and doing it as the first thing.
