Reconcile using online balance

More info:

Over many years I have NEVER used the "Reconcile using online balance" feature on any checking account, either plain or brokerage using "show cash in a checking account"

Recently my bank changed from investment details to simple investment(dammit) and "Reconcile using online balance" is not supposed to work but Q is doing it anyway.

Maybe I accidentally clicked something or it is a bug which needs programming to fix?

Either way I must eliminate the invalid entries Q is adding because now I must find them as they occur and manually delete them.

Any ideas??
