In the "Investment Center" whenever I downloaded quotes it also used to have a little newspaper icon next to each stock with recent headlines that updates news on every quote refresh. That icon never appears any longer. Anyone know why? Is there a setting somewhere that I messed up? TIA dot

Nope, you didn't mess up. Nor did I nor the several other users who have reported this recently - and from time to time over the past few years.
Intuit messes up this download quite often. Sometimes we get quotes with no news; sometimes we don't even get the quotes. We wonder which service Intuit has contracted with, but whoever it is, the service is often inadequate. I haven't seen any news there in about a week. Fortunately, there are many other ways to get news and quotes online, but THIS ought to work!
About all we can do is sit and wait until they get it fixed. :>( If you find a better solution, please let us all know.

Thanks for the info R.C. I have plenty of other sites that provide news it's just that having them all right there in Quicken is such a convenient starting point. And you are right. This ought to get fixed. Thanks again. dot
