I disagree. I saw the same messages long before support for Q2002 ended.
??? Not sure I understand. I was not implying that the message was new, I was merely stating that that message would appear and not something as esoteric as a pop-up to inform that online access has been disabled. I didn't think there was much room there for (dis)agreement. What is your experience of the circumstance when a user with a sunsetted Quicken tries to access online services?
I probably misinterpreted your post; I thought you were saying the message you saw *meant* that you had been sunsetted. I was just pointing out that it's meaning was much broader than that. After re-reading your post, I suspect you didn't mean what I thought; my concern was (under my original interpretation) was that everytime someone saw that message, they would think they had been sunsetted.
I should learn to be more precise in how I say things. Sorry for the confusion.
My fault, I think. I didn't read carefully enough.
Mike I am using Quicken 2001 and saw such a message this morning. This is crazy, because my computer cant run anything beyond 2002. Oh well, guess its death to Online banking.

I encourage you to invest in a real computer!

What is not "real" about the computer he owns? Why should he have to invest in new hardware to perform the same function that he has performed for years using his existing hardware?
