Three dots in register

When I go to one of my investment registers I noticed that the CLR row was showing three dots instead of giving me the option to mark an individual transaction with a "C".

I tried re-installing Quicken 2012 but to no avail.

Any ideas??

TIA

Bob

The column is not wide enough (though you should test this by selecting the transaction and clicking in the Clr column to see if you get the grey box with the down arrow that you can click to change the cleared status).

If no grey box when you click in the Clr column:

Widen that column (grab the vertical divider line to the right in the heading and drag it further to the right).

Or:

Validate a Quicken Copy of the file, and try again in the Validated Copy.

[I am unable to get the Q2012 Clr column narrow enough to produce the ellipses, though I have seen the behavior you're seeing, before.]
