Utilities for Changing from XP to Mac Quicken 2006?

Been using quicken windows for years and years. have many investment accounts etc.. reading about conversion from xp to mac, intuit warns of many potential problems of lost data, this won't be transferred etc etc, no guarantees...

anyone have any experience in this, any other non-intuit sw which can help with this conversion?

I'm also planning on switching to OS X from XP, and I find this issue vexing. Mac and Windows Quicken seem to be totally separate products with completely different file formats. This is really the only thing holding me back from buying Apple hardware today.

I've not seen anything to make me feel confident that the conversion will go well -- there are features that Q2005 supports that aren't even available in the Mac version.

I'll probably set up Virtual PC first and verify that the Windows version of Quicken run in the eumulator. If that works I'll give the conversion a few attempts and fall back to just using the emulator if it doesn't work out right.
