Usually? - very difficult to prove that - and difficult to find a source to prove the assumption.

If it's an assumption, it doesn't require proof. It stands until disproven. In any event, "usually" is the ultimate cop-out, er, I mean caveat.

No - in fact the people I know well don't tend to use credit cards to pay for day to day expenditure so you are probably right.
