Intuit ID?

Apr 21, 2014 5 Replies

I've "upgraded" to Quicken Deluxe 2014 and now when I try to download from my broker Quicken won't let me unless I create an Intuit ID.

I don't remember doing this in prior versions. Can I download transactions without registering and getting an Intuit ID?

The Intuit ID is a new requirement in Q2014; there is no way out of it , if you want to download.

It's a more invasive world every day. Thanks.

I agree but I also understand that Quicken needs to be very security concious and I believe the Intuit ID requirement is an attempt to improve security.

Security is what I am concerned with too. Maybe it "improves security", but Quicken now also has an ID to link with whatever other information it has gathered about me.

It's pretty hopeless.

I've been running Q 2014 for months without a prompt for an Intuit Id. Today I got one. Why would it suddenly decide I needed to enter it?
