Quicken ID problem

Openong Quicken today brought up the create Quicken ID screen and I can't get anywhere with it. The screen it pops up has a place for "Email Address (This will be your Quicken ID)". It has been filled in by Quicken with a non-email address name. If I finish that page and choose continue I get an error that the ID isn't and email address.

So I go back and put in my email address and fill out the rest of the page , the continue gets me to "This Quicken ID already exists". The Quicken help page for thsi talks about choosing the option to magrate the account but it's not there to select.

So far, 1 hour in and I still can't finish this. The Quicken help page for this is apparently missing steps. ANyone have the real process?

I think the trick is to repeat the attempt to create the Quicken ID for each Intuit ID associated with the email address. I had accumulated six. Eventually, I was prompted to "recover your account" and then had to cycle through the verification code twice.

I finally got it all done, You have to go through the "migrate account" ritual for each account you have. I had only three so it wasn't to bad once you found the missing steps missing in their instructions at the Error 2 portion of
