Quick question ... I now have quite a collection of chiup and pin cards from various suppliers (eg nationwide, hsbc etc)... Can I just go up to one atm (eg HSBC) and change the pins of all of them... or do I need to go to an atm for each supplier...?
Is there any charge for changing the pin of a card if I use my local hsbc atm to change for example a nationwide visa pin, or a matercard pin?

One ATM might not be able to do them all, but it might be able to do most. It's the type of card eg VISA not the issuer eg HSBC that determines this.

Dunno, but I'd be surprised if there were given the banks are pushing C&P. I imagine they must ask you whether you accept the charge before charging you, so you can refuse at this point.
FWIW I did most of mine (VISA & Maestro) on a Tesco Finance ATM.

Which ATM you can use depends on the card whose PIN you're trying to change. I was able to change my Egg and MBNA cards at HSBC. I think I had to go to a Lloyds TSB machine to change my Capital One PIN.
There's no charge for doing this at any of them.

I was able to change my Capital one pin and my Tesco pin at HSBC.
I could not get a Nationwide machine to change my Abbey pin thou.

My Abbey card said that I had to use an Abbey machine.
My Sainsubry card had to use a Sainsbury bank machine (of which I can name zero) or the Halifax who do their processing.
