Egg card 10 offer

Nov 03, 2004 8 Replies

Just had an email from egg offering me a 10 credit if I spend 50 anywhere by the end of this month. Thought there must be a catch but there does not seem to be one!

Just wondering if this is because a lot of people have taken advantage of the 5 month 0% anniversary balance transfer offer...if you then spend on the card as well, will that mean you get caught for paying interest? do Egg pay off balance transfers or spending first? Just a guess - I could be way off beam....

Mixing balance transfers and purchases on the same card is generally a "no-no" as it's almost impossible to pay off the purchases if you have a balance transfer running!

I've still got 3 months to wait till my 5 month anniversary offer so I'm safe to make a purchase.

No it's not - it hides where you are going to. If you always check out links before clicking them - as you should - then you'll stay well clear of TinyURLs!!

Then alternatively one could try setting wrapping at more than 37 characters...

The default in OE appears to be ... 76 characters.
