egg anniversary offer

From what i have read on this newsgroup and on the MSE site, sometimes they email you and sometimes they don't.

Not what you wanted to hear. The original email back in February should have told you your anniversary month but i am guessing you have deleted it. If you don't know it, the only way to be sure you don't miss the offer is to ask them.

Lol - I'd love to ask them Jane ...sent them a secure email from the site 4 days ago, but despite their promise on site to reply within 24 hours nothing received from them yet! thanks L

It took me about a minute to find out my anniversary month with a telephone call to Egg.

I got a phone call from Egg customer services on the 3rd of the month reminding me that this was my anniversary month and that I could use this offer. I did not get an email. However, when they were on the phone they tried to sell me insurance for outstanding balance protection, so I suspect this is where they hope to make some money from you, and they think they have a better chance of selling you something on the phone than if they just sent you an email reminder.

We'll get in touch with you to let you know when it's your Egg Card anniversary and to remind you of the offer available. This year the 0% balance transfer offer will be available for balance transfers made during the month in which your anniversary date falls.
