My name is Jim Moore. I'm 29 years old. I'm based in London and have been working for a well know financial software house for the past 4 years. I'm currently looking for some part-time or project work related to the financial sector. I am looking for something that will allow me to continuing utilizing my programming skills while working with market data/financial products. My skills range from C++/Visual C++/MFC to Java/SQL & ATL/COM.
I am pretty open to any sort of work. Things I have worked on in the past include real-time data displays for Equities and Derivatives, displaying quote lists, news information services, data retrieval techniques, working with third party data sources (Metastock, CSI, Reuters, Bloomberg), DDE, Portfolio evaluation, and real-time data feed handlers.
This message is targeted to anyone including companys looking for a non-mission critical task to be done at a low cost, or a private investor sitting at home wishing they could do more with their data services.
