Just wanted to post a quick thanks to the people who told me a few months back, contarary to what my local Halifax branch told me, that I could upgrade my current Halifax visa card of some 15 years to their 0% deal.
The branch had told me that the deal was for "new customers only" but, as some of you posted here, you had to trawl down on the Halifax site to find the upgrade option. Anyhow, I received the upgrade documentation in the post today and my card will now have 0% on new purchases and balance transfers for 9 months PLUS it will only be 9.9% after the deal ends as opposed to my current Halifax card which is about 18%.
Hopefully, I can wrangle the suite I bought on my Sainsburys 0% card last July over to the Halifax before the 0% deal on the Sainsburys card ends mid March.
